Reforme is an exciting new reformer Pilates studio opening in Market Drayton, Shropshire, bringing this transformative practice to an area currently underserved by dedicated reformer studios. Our vision is to create a welcoming, uplifting community that feels approachable, personable and authentic. At Reforme, clients of all abilities, sizes and shapes will feel motivated and supported to reach their goals in a calm, genuine environment where they can escape their stress and dedicate time for themselves.

The Opportunity

We're seeking certified Level 3 Mat and Reformer Pilates instructors as well as qualified Barre teachers to join our founding teaching team as freelancers. This is a unique opportunity to help establish a premier Pilates and Barre studio in Market Drayton and surrounding communities within a 20-30 minute drive. The studio is launching this summer!

Key Responsibilities

Teach engaging and effective 50-minute Pilates or Barre classes

Deliver primarily classical Pilates methods while incorporating elements of hybrid and contemporary techniques

For Barre teachers: Create dynamic, challenging and precise barre workouts that complement our Pilates offerings

Focus on mindfulness, breathwork and gratitude practices within sessions

Provide clear instruction with attention to proper alignment and form

Adapt exercises for different ability levels and physical limitations

Create both gentle restorative sessions and high-energy advanced classes as needed

Build genuine relationships with clients, understanding their goals and physical needs

Maintain a safe, inclusive and supportive environment for all participants

Contribute to the studio's welcoming community atmosphere

Collaborate with the studio team to evolve and grow the business

Required Qualifications

For Pilates: Level 3 certification in both Mat and Reformer Pilates

For Barre: Recognised Barre certification and teaching experience

Comprehensive understanding of movement principles, anatomy and alignment

Excellent verbal communication skills and teaching presence

Ability to modify exercises for diverse body types and fitness levels

Current professional insurance

Available to teach classes on a freelance basis

Ability to travel to Market Drayton location

Schedule Structure: Where possible, classes will be organised in blocks of 3-4 consecutive sessions to maximise instructor time and efficiency

Studio Tokens: Complimentary tokens to use the studio space for personal practice

Location

Reforme Studio is located in Market Drayton (TF9), Shropshire, serving the local community and surrounding towns/villages. We're positioned as the area's premier reformer Pilates and Barre destination, with the nearest comparable studios currently in Cannock and Altrincham.
